Earlier I posted the official trailer for the 2012 Tour de France. Also released yesterday was RCS Sport’s trailer for all of their races in 2013. This covers the Giro d’Italia and Tirreno-Adriatico, as well as the four one day races of Roma Maxima, Strade Bianche, Milan-San Remo and Il Lombardia.
If the Tour trailer focused on the history of the sport, this video instead casts its eye over more recent editions of each of these events. We see Simon Gerrans winning Milan-San Remo, Ryder Hesjedal victorious in Milan at the Giro, and Joaquin Rodriguez taking Il Lombardia in torrential rain.
This is still a good trailer, but personally it just failed to get my pulse racing as much as the Tour film. The focus on facts and figures meant that some of the passion was missing. With the obvious exception of the tifosi at the end…
